Using Reflection and Reframing to Handle Failure and Rejection
Success is rarely a straight line; it's a winding journey filled with ups and downs. Embrace failure and rejection as part of your path and let them guide you. The detours and bumps in the road can provide valuable lessons, and in the end, they may be what you need most to lead you to your greatest fulfillment.
Why Personal Development Tools Must Come FIRST
Check out our latest blog! Our philosophy is to prioritize personal development tools FIRST so our clients do not approach their life’s challenges and issues the same they always have. We want more for them! The tools we teach are not just supplementary – they are essential to creating long-lasting and quality change.
Reassessing Your "Shoulds" and Finding Clarity in Your Priorities
You have the power to change your perspective. When you replace the words "should," "must," and "have to" with "choose to," "want to," or "get to," you regain control over your life.
Mastering Self-Discipline and Time Management: Strategies for Success
Small victories compound over time, reinforcing the belief that you can achieve what you set out to do.
Give Yourself Some Credit
Here's something we want you to keep in mind - you're much more than your achievements or setbacks. You're a person with inherent worth, irrespective of what you've done or not done.
Teaching Others How to Treat Us
As life coaches, we've often observed a universal yet overlooked truth: the way we allow others to treat us plays a significant role in shaping our relationships, self-esteem, and overall well-being.

Morning Intentions Community Podcast Episode #100
It has been a whirlwind for us the past few months, and we are excited to announce that our coaching podcast, Morning Intentions, will already be on its 100th episode this Friday, May 19th! What a journey it has been.
Why We Team Coach
It has been nearly ten years since we first started coaching together, and what an incredible ten years it has been! Every day, we keep learning how to be the coaches we truly want to be and best serve our clients. From our first day coaching together, we’ve believed that coaching is a team approach to gaining understanding and solving problems. We are a team with our clients, and the two of us are a team together!
Caregiver Burnout
We have also been introduced more personally to the term “caregiver burnout.” We discussed burnout in a previous blog, but when we wrote that blog, the number of caregivers we had met was pretty limited. Caregiving can be stressful even if it only lasts a short while, and long-term caregiving stress and exhaustion need more attention and recognition.
Our New Podcast, Morning Intentions, Begins on New Year’s Day!
Some of you have asked for more information about our new Morning Intentions podcast, which will begin on January 1, 2023. The most important part of our new podcast is that it will be a resource for everyone who joins us. Our podcast will be a coaching podcast, and you will learn tools as though you are coming in personally for coaching.
Expressing Our Experience
To show up as our best selves, we must be able to EXPRESS OUR EXPERIENCE of life with someone else. Being truly seen, heard, and known is essential to happiness. This means that we must be able to honestly express our past hurt, our current pain, our joy, our concern, our frustration, our confusion, our love, and every other experience we encounter in our lives. We must have someone to see, hear, and know us – our true authentic us.
Happy Thanksgiving to YOU!
Thanksgiving is here already. How can this be? It feels like just a few days ago we were enjoying the warm sun of spring and summer!
We Need Safety to Thrive
Are the people closest to you safe? Is your home safe? Is your workplace safe? Your answers to these questions are important. Very important. And we encourage you to take some time today to really think them through because in order to thrive and show up in life as the best version of yourself, your relationships, home, and work must be safe.

Goodbye August, Hello Enneagram!
In a few short days, August will be coming to a close. Normally, the thought of the end of summer would have us feeling a little down. We LOVE summer! The Joys of Life
Today, I want to share with you what happened to me last week that has me thinking a lot about joy and how important it is for all of us to spend time each day doing something we love – even if we only have a few spare minutes.
Ordinary Acts of Kindness
One issue that has been coming up in our practice quite frequently this summer is exhaustion from experiencing a lack of consideration and kindness. Life can be stressful enough – and being confronted with unkindness is difficult!
Deepening My Understanding of Empathy
Through the years, I’ve learned how important empathy is to nurturing our relationships and processing our life experiences – and my current struggle confirms everything I’ve learned. I’ve really been needing some empathy lately!
