The Yellow Room Returns!
This week, we are excited to announce that Mesa County Public Health approved us for Phase 2 Reopening, which means we can finally resume activities in the Yellow Room. We will begin with our Enneagram course on Tuesday evening, June 23, from 6:30 to 8:15PM.
We’re Back!
We are happy to announce that we will be back coaching in our office beginning Monday, June 1st! It will be wonderful to see all of our beloved clients again IN PERSON!
Happy Monday!
First off, we continue to do lots of coaching by phone and on Zoom. We appreciate the willingness of our clients to be flexible during this time. Through their hard work, we are getting a great deal accomplished and lives are changing! Thank you to everyone who is doing this difficult, courageous work!
Courageous Leadership: CONSISTENCY
When our leaders are consistent in their actions, we know what to expect from them – they are reliable. They are steady. We can depend on them. They act the same on a good day as they do in a crisis. There is no question in our minds about who they are at their core.
Courageous Leadership: HONESTY
A chaotic world and uncertainty make for a frightening combination. When life becomes overwhelming, we need courageous leadership. If we think those in formal leadership positions are NOT being the courageous leaders we desire, we can lead ourselves.
Meet Greta
Last week, we decided to go ahead with our plans to add another dog to the clan – deciding on a rescue instead of a puppy. Sadly, all over the world, dog owners are abandoning their dogs due to the coronavirus, believing their dogs will transmit the illness to them.
Keeping in Touch
To continue our discussion from last week, today we’d like to share a few more personal practices with you, with the intention of helping you create positive, life-enriching habits in your own lives.
How Do You Start Your Day?
We have been taking this time of staying at home and social distancing to think about our lives, our work, what we are offering, and how to make some adjustments and improvements. Our daily practices and other resources have been essential during this time. Today, we’re going to give you a peek at how we begin each day.
Get Creative with Connection
Even though we all understand the need for social distancing, isolating ourselves, can have an impact on our overall emotional health.
Shining the Light on YOU!
Now that we’ve turned our clocks ahead and are enjoying more daylight at the end of our days, it would be beneficial to take a cue from Mother Nature and shine a light onto all areas of our lives. By this we mean, taking a personal inventory!
Happy March to YOU!
We’re looking forward to seeing you all this week at one or more of the classes we are offering at our Academy for Personal Development.
Our Gratitude for You
One thought that has been on our minds lately is the importance of coming together with others in a spirit of acceptance for those with whom we are joining and ourselves.
Give Yourself the Gift of a Check-In
Today, we want to talk with you about the importance of checking-in with ourselves throughout the day. With all that goes on in life that draws our attention, it can be very easy to become distracted from ourselves.
More Yoga and Gong Meditation Coming to the Yellow Room!
Beginning THIS THURSDAY, Kim St. Germain will be offering yoga and gong meditations in the Yellow Room!
This Week at the Academy
It’s hard to believe that we are in our last week of January. We’ve had a wonderful month and are already looking forward to more going on in February.
Don’t Give Up on Yourself
This week, we’d like to talk with you about not giving up on yourself. Many times in our coaching, we have the experience of new clients coming in and wanting so desperately to change their circumstances.
Clear Communication BASICS Beings Tuesday!
In our Clear Communication BASICS class, we learn to communicate consciously, rather than relying on the old programming we have developed during our childhoods and throughout our lives.
January 2020 in the Yellow Room
Both of us have had a lot of training in different modalities and are lifelong students. Our goal is to bring all that we have learned and share it with you!
Thank You!
We want to express our appreciation to each one of you for being in our lives this past year. We are filled with gratitude for all we have learned and all of our experiences with our clients, class participants, and colleagues.
